Black Stars depart for Morocco ahead of Niger clash

The Black Stars have departed Ghana for their second 2025 Africa Cup of Nations qualifying game against Niger.

The team held a recovery session in Kumasi before departing for Accra and to Berkane, Morocco for the game on Monday, September 9, 2024.

Ghana will be hoping to get back to winning ways after suffering a disappointing defeat to Angola on September 5, 2024.

The Central African side pipped Ghana 1-0 to earn their third win over the West African side.

In the same vein, Niger also lost their opening game against Sudan, losing 1-0 in the away fixture.

Both Ghana and Niger currently sit at the bottom of the group with zero points while Angola and Sudan are tied at the top with 3 points each.
