Bernard Mensah grabs an assist in Al Tai’s defeat to Al-Hilal

Ghanaian midfielder Bernard Mensah delivered a standout performance in Al Tai’s 3-1 loss to Al-Hilal in the Saudi Pro League on Thursday evening.

Despite the defeat, Mensah’s assist for Al Tai’s lone goal was a highlight of the match.

The game, held at the Kingdom Arena, saw Al-Hilal dominate possession and outshoot their opponents. The first goal of the match came in the 16th minute, with Salem Al Dawsari of Al-Hilal scoring a left-footed shot from the left side of the box.

Al-Hilal continued to pressure Al Tai and doubled their lead in the 43rd minute through a right-footed shot from Michael. The third goal for Al-Hilal came in the 59th minute, with Malcom scoring a left-footed shot from the centre of the box.

Despite the commanding lead, Al Tai refused to give up and were rewarded for their efforts in the 63rd minute. Mensah, who started the game and played for 66 minutes, provided a brilliant assist to Andrei Cordea, who scored with a left-footed shot from the left side of the box.

Although Al Tai was unable to mount a comeback, Mensah’s performance was a positive for the team.

The Ghanaian midfielder has been in great form this season, playing 29 games, scoring 14 goals, and providing two assists in the Saudi Pro League.
