The Electricity Company of Ghana (ECG) has attributed the power outages being experienced in parts of Accra to the flooding of seven substations after the rains on Wednesday, May 1, 2024. ECG in a press release on Thursday, May 2, indicated that the substations which included Burma Camp L, Station H -Dzorwulu, Gbawe, and four others, got flooded after the heavy downpour.
