Hezbollah has launched around 150 rockets into Israel in retaliation for an overnight blitz on dozens of sites in Lebanon.
Israeli ambulance service said there were no immediate reports of casualties.
It comes after Lebanon’s ambassador to the UK warned yesterday that an Israeli ground invasion would lead to a ‘doomsday’ scenario of all-out regional conflict.
